1st Balkan Conference on the Biology of
Reproduction in Farm Animals and in Aquaculture



Guidelines for Manuscript


All scientific papers, posters, and slides must be written in english language.
Oral presentations  be made in Italian, English or Albanian language. There will be a simultaneous translation into 3 languages.

Presenters/authors have the opportunity to submit their works as:
Oral presentations: (10 minutes presentations with an additional 5 minutes for questions & answers).
Poster presentations: posters will be in place for the entire conference and presenters must stand by their posters during the poster session.

Submission guidelines:

All papers have to be submitted online and drafted according to the guidelines. There is no limit on the number of papers can be sent by the same author or co-author. But at least for each paper there will must be one registration fee.

April 5, 2012.
Compliance with the manuscript formatting guidelines presented in the following sections will minimize  for authors, peer reviewers, and staff and will facilitate subsequent revision of papers. Each paper will  evaluated at least 2 reviewers.

Manuscript specifications
Authors should prepare their papers in Microsoft Word or some other word processing (Page margins should be top: 2 cm, bottom: 2 cm, left: 3 cm, right: 3 cm; Font: Times New Roman; Size: 12 pt; Interlinear space: 1). Papers are accepted only in English and the length of each paper, including the abstract and references must not exceed 5200 keystrokes (begin count at the title and end count with the last word, including characters, spaces, and punctuation), in any case not more than 2 pages. Tables, figures, and graphs are allowed if required, but must be included in the 2 pages. Authors are invited to limit the figures and tables, providing only essential information. Each paper must have an abstract with  200 words, containing all informations.

Submit the manuscript in a single electronic file organized in following sequence:

AUTHORS
RESEARCH INSTITUTE
CORRESPONDING AUTHOR E-MAIL
KEY WORDS: 3
ABSTRACT: 200 words
BODY OF PAPER: with figures and tables embedded in the text
REFERENCES: Reference list should contain only references that are cited in the text, numbered in the order in which they are first cited. Max 10 references are allowed.

INTRODUCTION - The dog is an attractive animal model to study human diseases, since more than 370
canine genetic disorders are reported to resemble diseases occurring in humans1.

MATERIALS AND METHODS - Samples were recovered after elective ovariohysterectomy in three
bitches at 25 to 40 days of gestational age.
